About Us

Hello all! My name is Krissa. I am the owner of Simple Blessings LLC. I am in my early 20s and on quite an adventure!

I grew up in Elk Mound Wisconsin. I bet you are all thinking “who would live someplace called “Elk Mound?” Me! I grew up in a beautiful house with amazing parents and two younger brothers. In other words, I had a great childhood living out in the country.

The question I get most often is “what brought you to Lake City?” Well, when you stay at Simple Blessings B and B you will see. The house I was shown is absolutely beautiful.

I started the bed and breakfast on September 28, 2018. After a few months of running the B&B, I found myself in a very quiet time and in need of ways to meet the town. I had been talking to my pastor for a while about what I could get involved in at the church. He proposed the secretary’s job. Though the job is only a few hours each morning I had found it a very lovely job.

On this blog, I share the truth. We talk about business, my life, and my never-ending adventures and experiences! I am a new homeowner so you can be SURE that I have a lot of adventures!
